Is everyone ready for winter to be over? It seems the snow and ice just doesn’t want to quit. I live in Marietta, Georgia and never dreamed I’d be snowed in by a mere two inches of snow and ice. The good thing about my job is as long as I have my laptop, I’m good to go. No missed work for me! Blog tours and promo spots, and working on my current book kept me busy.

How many of you will be watching the Olympic Winter Games over the next seventeen days? Will you be glued to your big screen TV or pouting because your favorite shows have been interrupted for game coverage?

Personally, I love the figure skating and luge events. I like to watch the downhill skiing, but have a tendency to close my eyes. There’s something about flying down a huge ski slope at a million miles a minute that terrorizes me. When you throw in a couple of aerial stunts, I reach the breath-holding, near-fainting stage of spectator enthusiasm. Obviously these athletes are adrenalin junkies. No leisurely run down the scenic slopes will do.

But, I suppose the thrills and spills are the reason we watch. Which Winter Olympic Games will you watch this year? Hockey? Skiing? Snowboarding? Bobsledding? Ice Skating? There are many more choices. What’s your favorite?
