Hi Everyone!
Looks like summer is winding down. It’s been a busy one for me. I had such a great time in San Antonio at the RWA Conference. It’s always fun to see my writer friends and meet new ones. RWA averages 2,500 attendees at the annual conference so you can imagine what a crazy time it is! Be sure to check below to get a peek at a few of my pictures from the week.
Hubby and I are taking a long weekend at the beach this week to recharge. My brain needs the rest before I dive into the edits for the historic western romance I’ve been offered a contract for. YAY ME! I finally finished the self-revisions on The Eyes of Vengeance and the manuscript is now in the hands of the editor. She thought she’d have it for about a week and then it comes back to me. I’ll have a few more edits to make I’m sure. Then it goes to the formatter. If it goes live before the end of summer, I will be impressed. Chances are slim, but who knows?

I imagine everyone is busy making the last of their Summer of 2014 memories. Whether it’s vacation trips, preparing the kids for school, or devouring the final fruits and veggies from the garden, I hope you enjoy yourself.

What I’m Working on Now
I’m waiting for the editor to return The Eyes of Vengeance so I can make the final changes. I will start the edits on my historical western romance Monday. I’m excited to get started. Tentatively it’s titled, Coltrane Corners. I loved doing the research on this one. The men and women of The Old West were amazing people.
